We met Josiah and Joanna for lunch. He is a happy 3.5 months boy. Starting to observe (the fans at the cafe) and enjoy his fingers. I think some teeth are coming soon. What fun.
Yesterday we moved every from the first floor except the bed, sofa & hutch to the basement. Today we had 3 contractor crews coming. Over 50 boards with .25 inch spaces were replaced this morning with others being done thi
Leia says lets go hiking. For the skiers, the snow is great.
What do you do with all your worn out jeans? Make a quilt. This is flannel and jean squares. I place batting in the squares for extra warmth. It is great for kids. Enjoy your day.
Happy Friday - My tulips just opened for the weekend. Enjoy
Morning light in the nook. The floor is done and looks great, the walls repainted, the walk through list is getting smaller. It is fun to to see progress. The new superintendent has done a great job.
Happy Spring--A bright start with taking a long time Chicago friend and my mother in law in Colorado Springs to lunch. It is going to be sunny and 60s.
Spring in the desert. Exciting Friday, off to Design Center to pick for our basement project.
Happy Monday--CSU students back from spring break. Busy week with students and a new class on Influence scheduled for Saturday morning. Enjoy your week.
Three weeks ago we movied everything from the main floor to the basement so they could redo the wood floors throughout. This weekend we moved as much as we could from the basement to the main floor so they can start on the
Great day--started with snow (needed moisture), tried aqua class at the gym, basement proceeding--electricians and sheet rockers working hard. Leia and Jedi are ready for the noise to stop. Tomorrow is Friday-yea
Josiah is 5 months old. What a treat to see him grow. He loves to play bounce on the swing, smile, talk and is about to get his first teeth. This is before nap time. A visit sure brings a smile to our faces. I think h
Ran into my favorite little man, Josiah when I was at Costco. He was ready to get out of the car seat. It won't be long before he has some teeth.
Neighborhood peeps coming for dinner. My crowd pleasing bbq brisket, asparagus, applesauce and their dishes. It is fun to enjoy new neighbors and celebrate Easter.
Yea Monday--Home entrance has new concrete. Most of the plants survived. The plumber in the basement working. After two weeks without workers, it is nice to see positive movement again.
Coaching is my passion. I love to see people grow and develop their potential. In meeting with one of the EMBA students today, she shared that the EVP gave her feedback that she now has EP-Executive Presence. It makes me
A good week. New front entrance, grass, basement plumbing complete, tomorrow they are rebuilding the pantry and the inspector is coming. Progress makes me happy.
Plumber came last week but we were without hot water for 4 days till he could return. Now waiting on the dry wall to be delivered. We have had deliveries anything between 6:30 am until 6:30 pm. You just never know.
The sheet rock arrived at 4pm and they unloaded until 7:15. They had to come in through the front door and hall to go down the stairs. We had to use our blankets on the walls and runs on the floors to protect them.
The sheet rock people were to finish and be out of the house by 4pm on Friday. They showed up to clean only to say they would return Monday--not because the inspector is scheduled. We missed our plans out. This weekend w
